TESTING OUR CARTRIDGES
Printhead cartridges (like 305, 302, 304 and 303) rely on a chip on the circuit patch talking to the printer. When a new circuit patch comes in, we don't just put the cartridges on the shelf. We test them in printers to make sure the printer reads the chip and gives NO errors.
THE SEAL IS NEVER PULLED
The seal tape is never pulled. The test only checks the electrical contacts on the cartridge - nothing more. Your cartridge is still sealed and unused when you get it.
WHAT OUR TESTING SHOWS
Sometimes NONE fail in testing. Sometimes 1 might fail out of 30. Any that fail never reach our customers.
WHY WE DO IT
We don't like our customers having the inconvenience of bringing a cartridge back to the shop. Like any industry, you'll never get 0% problems. BUT by testing first, we find we have very few issues.

TESTED, BOXED AND READY FOR THE SHELF
Once a cartridge passes testing, it goes straight back into its box - still sealed and unused - ready for the shelf.
